Mercedes-Benz repair in Portland.
Service A and Service B to the factory schedule, transmission fluid service, oil leak repair, suspension and brakes. Dealer-level diagnostics and OEM or OE parts, without the dealer bill.
The same schedule, without the dealer bill.
Mercedes sets the intervals. Nothing about them requires a dealership to carry out, and nothing about using us puts your warranty at risk.
Service A is the lighter visit, roughly every 10,000 miles or a year: full synthetic oil and filter, fluid levels, tyre pressures, a brake inspection and a proper service-counter reset.
Service B comes around every 20,000 miles or two years and adds the cabin dust filter, the air filter and brake fluid. Both get done here to the same specification with OEM or OE parts, and the car stops nagging you afterwards because the indicator is reset correctly rather than cleared.
By system, not by mileage.
-
Oil leaks
A smell of burning oil after a drive, or spots on the drive.
Valve cover gaskets, the oil cooler seals and the oil filter housing are the usual sources. None are urgent on the day you notice them, and all get much more expensive once oil has been cooking on the exhaust or soaking engine mounts.
-
Transmission
A flare between gears, a shudder at light throttle, or a jerk into reverse.
The 7G-Tronic and its predecessors are durable gearboxes with fluid that was never meant to last forever. Fluid and filter service on schedule is the difference between a long life and a rebuild. Conductor plate faults are common and are diagnosed, not guessed.
-
Suspension
The car sits low overnight, rides harshly, or warns on start-up.
Air suspension is a system, not a part: struts, lines, the compressor and the ride-height sensors all fail differently. Diagnosing which one before replacing anything is the entire job. Conventional models wear control arm bushings and show it as vague steering.
-
Cooling
Temperature creeping up in traffic, or sweet smell and pink residue.
Thermostats, water pumps and the plastic that surrounds them age on a timeline rather than by symptom. On a V8 especially, a cooling problem found early is a service and found late is an engine.
-
Electrical
A warning that comes and goes, or modules behaving oddly.
Intermittent electrical faults on a modern Mercedes are almost never the part the code names. Every module gets scanned and the fault traced to its actual cause before anything is quoted.
-
Brakes
Pedal travel changing, or a dust-covered front wheel.
Mercedes brakes are soft by design and wear faster than owners expect. Pads, rotors and the wear sensors that go with them, done to spec rather than with whatever fits.

Got quoted an amazing and fair price for a diagnostic, Jeremiah was honestly such a cool dude and answered all my questions. Outstanding service, will definitely come back for all my car repairs/diagnostics. He will make sure your vehicle is properly diagnosed and leaves in top shape. To him there’s no such thing as good enough, only perfect.

Common Mercedes questions.
What is Service A and Service B on a Mercedes?
Service A is the lighter visit, roughly every 10,000 miles or a year: full synthetic oil and filter, a fluid top-up, tyre pressures, brake inspection and the service counter reset. Service B is the bigger one, roughly every 20,000 miles or two years: everything in Service A plus the cabin dust filter, the air filter and brake fluid. The dealer charges a premium for both. We do the same work to the same schedule with OEM or OE parts, and we reset the service indicator properly so the car stops asking.
Can an independent shop do Mercedes service without voiding my warranty?
Yes. In the US, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act means a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because an independent shop did the maintenance, as long as the work is done to specification with appropriate parts. We keep records and use OEM or OE parts precisely so that is never a conversation.
My Mercedes is leaking oil. How serious is it?
Usually not urgent, and usually cheaper to fix early. Most leaks are valve cover gaskets, oil cooler seals or the filter housing. The reason to deal with it is not the oil you lose, it is what the oil ruins on the way out: engine mounts, belts and sensors all cost more than the gasket did. We trace the actual source rather than cleaning it up and guessing.
Do you work on Mercedes air suspension?
We diagnose it properly, which is the part that saves money. Airmatic faults get blamed on struts when the compressor, a line or a ride-height sensor is at fault, and those are very different bills. You get told which component has actually failed before anything is replaced.
Where can I get Mercedes repair near me in Portland?
PDXEuroWerks, in Southeast Portland, serving the surrounding metro — Beaverton, Hillsboro, Gresham, Tigard, Lake Oswego, Milwaukie and Vancouver, WA. By appointment; call or text (971) 200-5613 for a free quote, usually the same day.
How much does Mercedes repair cost compared to the dealer?
Less, and quoted before we start. The bigger saving is usually not the hourly rate but the work you do not end up paying for: we diagnose the actual cause instead of replacing the part a code points at. Inspections are $250 to $300 flat and everything else is quoted once the cause is known.
