Audi repair & service in Portland.
2.0T and supercharged 3.0T service, carbon cleaning, cooling and oil leak repair, DSG and quattro driveline fluids, brakes and suspension. Diagnosed properly, quoted before the work starts, and done with OEM or OE parts.
Most Audi bills are maintenance that got postponed.
Audis are not fragile. They are specific. Nearly every expensive Audi repair we see started as a service item nobody mentioned at the dealer.
Carbon on the intake valves because direct injection never washes them. A water pump housing that was plastic from the factory. DSG fluid treated as lifetime when it is not. Differential and transfer case oil that has never been touched in 90,000 miles of quattro driving.
Handle those on time and an Audi is a genuinely durable car. Skip them and the first symptom arrives attached to a four-figure estimate. That is the whole job here: tell you what is due before it becomes what is broken.
Known issues, engine by engine.
- 2.0T EA888 A4, A5, A3, Q5, TT
Carbon buildup on the intake valves, timing chain tensioner on earlier builds, and the plastic water pump and thermostat housing. Oil consumption is common and worth measuring before it is assumed.
Carbon cleaning, water pump & thermostat, timing service, oil consumption diagnosis - 3.0T Supercharged S4, S5, A6, Q7
The supercharger itself is robust; the work is around it. Thermostat and water pump live under the blower, so access is the job. Carbon cleaning matters here too, and the DSG and differential fluids get forgotten.
Cooling under the supercharger, carbon cleaning, DSG & diff service - 4.2 V8 S4 B6/B7, A8, Q7
Timing chains live at the back of the engine, so a tensioner job is an engine-out conversation and worth catching early. Coil packs, cam adjusters and oil leaks are the usual running costs.
Timing chain diagnosis, coils, cam adjusters, leak repair - quattro driveline All-wheel-drive models
Front and rear differential and transfer case fluids are service items that most owners are never told about, and they are far cheaper than what replaces them.

What we do for your Audi.
-
Diagnostics
Fault codes read across every module and traced to a cause, not a parts list. You get told what is wrong and what it costs before anything is approved.
-
Oil & Fluid Service
Full synthetic oil service to spec, plus the fluids Audis quietly need: DSG or S tronic, front and rear differential, transfer case, brake and coolant.
-
Carbon Cleaning
Direct-injection engines build carbon on the intake valves because fuel never washes them. Cleaning restores the running quality owners assume they have lost to age.
-
Cooling & Leaks
Water pumps, thermostat housings and the plastic that goes brittle around them, plus oil leak tracing at the valve cover, chain cover and pan.
-
Brakes & Suspension
Pads, rotors and sensors, control arms and bushings. The front suspension on a B8 chassis has a lot of arms, and worn ones feel like steering vagueness rather than a noise.
-
Pre-Purchase Inspection
Buying a used Audi? A written inspection with photos and a full fault-code scan tells you what you are actually buying, at $250 to $300 flat.

PDXEuroWerks did a tremendous job on my Audi S5. They were able to service my transmission and engine on short notice with an extremely quick turnaround. They gave me a better price than any shop in the area and communicated throughout the whole process. Couldn’t be happier!

Got quoted an amazing and fair price for a diagnostic, Jeremiah was honestly such a cool dude and answered all my questions. Outstanding service, will definitely come back for all my car repairs/diagnostics. He will make sure your vehicle is properly diagnosed and leaves in top shape. To him there’s no such thing as good enough, only perfect.

Common Audi questions.
Do you work on Audi, or just BMW?
Both. BMW is our specialty and the bulk of what comes through the shop, but Audi is genuine, regular work here, not something we take on reluctantly. Same diagnostic depth, same OEM and OE parts, same approach of telling you the cause before quoting the fix.
What is carbon cleaning and does my Audi need it?
Direct-injection engines spray fuel straight into the cylinder, so fuel never washes over the intake valves the way it did on older port-injected engines. Carbon builds up on them over time and the car slowly loses crispness, idles rougher and can misfire. It affects the 2.0T and 3.0T families in particular. If your Audi is past roughly 60,000 miles and feels flat, it is worth looking at before you chase anything more expensive.
My Audi is burning oil. Is that normal?
Some consumption is normal; a quart every thousand miles is not. On the 2.0T it is often piston rings or the PCV system, and those are very different repairs. We measure consumption properly and test the PCV before recommending anything, because guessing here is how people spend four figures on the wrong job.
Do you service DSG and S tronic transmissions?
Yes. DSG and S tronic fluid and filter service is a real maintenance item on a schedule, not a lifetime fill, and skipping it is one of the more expensive mistakes an Audi owner can make. We also service front and rear differentials and the transfer case on quattro models.
